Fundraiser at Shula Burger

On February 16, 2017, Shoes2You had a fundraiser at Shula Burgers in Delray Beach, Florida. Shoes2You raised over six hundred dollars and collected ninety shoes at the event. It was a success and Shoes2You thanks Shula Burgers for their help and generosity. 


Paul's Place

​Shoes2You distributed eighty-three pairs of shoes on March 1, 2017 to Paul's Place in Delray Beach, Florida. ​

The Delray Magazine wrote and published an article on Shoes2You in the May and June of 2017 edition. 


Palm Beach County Health Department Award Ceremony 2017
Shoes2You received an award on April 28, 2017, at the Palm Beach County Health Department Volunteer Awards Luncheon for shoes given and a personal leadership award to Joseph Rubsamen, founder of Shoes2You.

Shoes2You collection at Unity School

Unity School collected hundreds of shoes for Shoes2You every Thursday in January and February of 2017.


Shoes2You collection at Oxbridge Academy

Oxbridge Academy collected shoes for Shoes2You from the 6th through the 24th of February in 2017. Shoes2You collected over 500 pairs of shoes from oxbridge during the three week shoe collection time. 


Shoes2You collection at Davenport School of the Arts 
Davenport School of the Arts collected shoes for Shoes2You throughout the months of November and December in 2016. They collected approximately 1,700 pairs of shoes, the most from any one collection. 

Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce Non-profit Organization Event
Shoes2You was one of the many wonderful non-profit organizations that participated in the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce event on Friday, November 4, 2016. It was an amazing experience to get out in the community and spread the word of Shoes2You, sparking several people's attention i the cause of Shoes2You. 


Palm Beach County Health Department Award Ceremony 2016

Shoes2You received an award on April 8, 2016, at the Palm Beach County Health Department Volunteer Awards Luncheon.


Shoes2You shoe Collection at Oxbridge Academy
From May 9th through the 27th of 2016, Shoes2You collected approximately 150 pairs shoes from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida.


Education Rocks schools in Bali, Indonesia

From 2014 to 2016, Shoes2You has collected over 1,500 pairs of shoes to send and hand deliver to students and teachers at the Education Rocks schools in Bali, Indonesia. In 2016, Joseph Rubsamen, founder of Shoes2You and his family visited the Education Rocks program in Bali and delivered over four hundred pairs of shoes to the children in the program and some of their family members.


Rivas, Nicaragua

In 2014, The first international distribution of shoes form Shoes2You took place in Rivas, Nicaragua by Joseph Rubsamen, his family in Nicaragua. Over 600 pairs of shoes have been delivered to Los Pipitos Childrens' Hospital and the Women and Childrens' Diabetic Center in Rivas, Nicaragua. Several hundred pairs of shoes have also been distributed throughout the region the Nicaraguans in need.


Builder's Club Award

While attending 7th and 8th grade at Unity School of Delray Beach in 2013 and 2014, Joseph received a Builders Club award and check two years in a row for best local and global community service projects voted on by his fellow students attending Unity School.


Shoes2You shoe Collection at Unity School
In April of 2013, Shoes2You started collecting shoes at Unity School and collected hundreds of shoes. Again in April of 2014, Shoes2You collected shoes at Unity School and was once again, a success. In September and October of 2015, February of 2016, and January and February of 2017, the Builders Club at Unity School have collected thousands shoes for Shoes2You.


Palm Beach County Health Departments

Shoes2You has distributed shoes to the less fortunate citizens by distributing shoes to the Palm Beach County Health Departments. Shoes2You distributed shoes to the Health Departments in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.


Paul's Place in Delray Beach, Florida

Shoes2You partnered with Kathy Fazio and the Paul's Place after school program to help provide shoes to twenty-seven students ranging from elementary school to high school in the program in 2016. 


Sun Sentinel Article

In 2014 Shoes2You was featured in an article in the sun sentinel.


Kenya, Africa

In June of 2016, Shoes2You distributed 81 pairs of shoes to the orphans in the Collins 'Victoria Tennis' Agwanda in Kenya, Africa.


Florida House of Representatives

Shoes2You was recognized by Florida House of Representative Kevin Rader of District 81 on September 5, 2014.


Congress of the United States 

Lois Frankel, U.S. Congress, House of Representative of District 22, congratulated, on August 26, 2014, Shoes2You's article in the Sun Sentinel and fantastic work for the Palm Beach County community and non-profit work worldwide.


Google Apps for Business

On May 22, 2014 Google Apps director of Worldwide Sales and Operations, Rich Rao, recognized the creation of Shoes2You as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
